We are proud to celebrate 3rd grade teacher, Mrs. Miranda Bowen, as our CES Teacher of the Year. She currently serves as the Chair for our School Improvement Team, holds a Master's Degree and Gifted Endorsement, and serves as a member of the Data and Safety Committees. Mrs. Bowen says the following about teaching, "I believe that education is not only about teaching students ideas and standards, but also about encouraging students to question and seek knowledge in a variety of areas both in school and out ."  Mrs. Bowen is married to her husband Buck and they are the proud parents of a baby boy.

Congratulations to Mrs. Parks 4th grade class.  They won a pizza party for bringing in the most Box Tops for last month!

CES actively participates in the Box Tops For Education program. During the 2011-2012 school year, proceeds from Box Tops helped to purchase a large piece of new equipment for one of our Kindergarten playgrounds. Click on the link below to find out more about this great program!
