 As some of you may know, I have started my maternity leave. Mrs. Peddie will be teaching the class until I return in November. Stop the spread of germs! We are working hard to keep all of our cougars healthy. Students are asked to wash their hands when they enter the classroom each morning and before they leave in the afternoon. This is in addition to our policy of washing hands after using the restroom, coughing or sneezing, and before we eat. When washing with soap and water is not possible, students are given hand sanitizer. Donations of alcohol-based hand sanitizer for this purpose are needed and greatly appreciated. You can help at home! We encourage students to cough and sneeze into their elbow, instead of their hands. This can help prevent the spread of germs through touching things. Practice this method at home and discuss the proper way to wash our hands. If your child is sick, please do not send him/her to school. Students should be fever-free for 24 hours before returning to the classroom. We thank you for all that you do to keep our students safe and healthy! |
