Homework Guidelines Homework is due on the last day of each week. Students who do not turn in homework on time will be given a poor work habits grade and will be asked to complete make up work on that day. Students who are absent when homework is due should turn in homework on the next school day.
*Each day, pick one spelling and one vocabulary activity to do. Also, complete the assigned math page and read for 15 minutes.
Spelling Choices: Write your spelling words three times. Write a sentence for each spelling word. Put your spelling words in ABC order.
See how many times you can write your words in one minute . Take a practice spelling test.
Vocabulary Choices:
Make flash cards for your high frequency words. Write a sentence for each high frequency word. Draw a picture for each high frequency or robust vocabulary word. Say a sentence for each robust vocabulary word. Find a word that means almost the same thing as each robust vocabulary word. Write a message to someone using your words. |
