The goal of the Transportation Department is to provide safe, efficient student transportation to and from school and school-related activities. During the regular school term, appoximately 46 school buses run 1,200,000 miles each year transporting 4300 of the 4600 enrolled. Currently, 100% of the school bus fleet will provide runs for nine schools, increasing efficiency and utilization of equipment.

All buses are equipped with a two-way radio and 3/4 of the bus fleet are also monitored with video cameras.
