Greece is located in Europe.  The ancient Greece civilization began about 3,000 years ago. 

The ocean was very important to Greece.

The Greek invented the alphabet.  It is a set of symbols that stand for spoken sounds.

The Greek invented pottery and statues, which are types of art.

The Greek invented drama, which is a play.
