Classes Required For Graduation
TOTAL: 24 creditsENGLISH:
4 credits with major concentration in composition and literature. MATH:
4 credits, 1 of which must be in Algebra I or its equivalent.
Note: Class of 2013 must pass the FCAT math. Students entering WHS as a 9th grader in 2011-2012 and beyond must pass Algebra 1 and Geometry EOCs.
SCIENCE:
3 credits, 2 of which must have a laboratory component. SOCIAL STUDIES:
3 credits, 1 of which must be in World History (10th grade); 1 credit in American History (11th grade); 1/2 credit in Economics and 1/2 credit in American Government (12th grade) VOCATIONAL EDUCATION:
1 credit PERFORMING ARTS:
1 credit PERSONAL FITNESS:
1/2 credit to include assessment, improvement, and maintenance of personal fitness. PHYSICAL EDUCATION:
