(Latin for: Cast of Characters)

Dramatis Personae elects its officers every year in May before the next school year so that officers will have the summer months to get together and plan activities for the Troupe. To run for office the student must also qualify for membership in the International Thespian Society.

How to Join

Dramatis Personae meets the second Tuesday of every month and dues are $5 a year. This club is the support group that “produces” the plays, talent shows, etc. at Wakulla High.

Auditions for One-Act Plays, Talent Shows, Full Length productions, etc. are open to everyone, but it is the members of Dramatis Personae that bring these events to life. All of the productions are entirely student run.

In addition to performances at the High School Dramatis Personae Members participate in The Great Coastal Clean-up, Relay for Life, Toys for Tots, Shakespeare Festivals, etc., and other worthy causes around the school and community.

Those members of Dramatis Personae who earn enough points can qualify for membership in the International Thespian Society.  Members of Thespian Troupe # 5036 can then go on to District & State Competitions and Festivals.
