"I am very excited about the opening of our brand new elementary school, Riversink Elementary. I was involved in the planning of Wakulla Middle School 28 years ago, and I enjoyed helping start that school. So now I have the opportunity to do that again but at the administrative level in an elementary setting. I'm sure the challenges will be many, but the rewards will be worth it! Opening a school with state-of-the-art technology will be a wonderful opportunity. The potential for learning through this technology will be a tremendous benefit for our students.

I am looking forward to working with Mrs. High, the teachers and the staff as we prepare to open, I'm sure it will be a very busy summer, but we'll be ready to welcome all our students and parents on August 18th."
